Rosalie  Beck (Black)
Rosalie Beck of Irondale, Missouri, was born January 5, 1929, in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of the late Monty R. and Golda M. (Jordan) Black. Rosalie departed this life September 4, 2018, having reached the age of 89 Years, 7 Months and 30 Days.
Rosalie was united in marriage to the late Charles Beck on March 18, 1946, in Elvins, MO.
Rosalie is survived by one daughter, Rita Elaine Beck and companion Al Campbell of Irondale, MO, one son, Terry D. Beck and wife Donna of Irondale, MO, two sisters-in-law, Pauline Black of Farmington, MO and Betty Denton of Desloge, MO. Six grandchildren, Elaine Pulliam and husband Tom of Irondale, MO, Traci Carlyon and husband Jimmy of Park Hills, MO, Jonathan Ketcherside and wife Amy of Bismarck, MO, Charles Beck and wife Carla of Vermilion, OH, Amber Coward of Irondale, MO, Aaron Beck of Irondale, MO and Isabella Rosalie Beck of Irondale, MO, fifteen great grandchildren, twelve great great grandchildren and by many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and spouse Rosalie was also preceded in death by one sister, Sara M. Maynard, three brothers, Victor E. Black, Warren Black and Marvin Black.
Rosalie was a longtime member of the Irondale First Baptist Church. She enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life including sewing and quilting. She always had a smile when family and friends would come by and visit or when she could go visiting. Rosalie had a great love for history and she and Charles enjoyed traveling to see that history. She enjoyed listening to Blue Grass music. Prior to her retirement she had served as post master for the United States Postal Service for many years.
