Lawrence Thomas Ward, known to all as Larry, was born September 26, 1955 in Bonne Terre, MO a son to the late Charles J. Ward and Bernita Lucy (Boyer) Ward. Larry departed this life Sunday October 6, 2019 having reached the age of 64 years and 10 days.
Larry is survived by three sisters: Donna Laramore and husband Andy of Potosi, MO; Ann Kitts and husband Toby of Cleveland, GA; Lucy “Belle” Ward of Cadet, MO; two brothers: Chris Ward and wife JoJo of DeSoto, MO; Robert Ward and wife Eileen of Camdenton, MO; Sisters-in-law: Merellene Ward of Charleston, SC; Linda Ward of Cadet, MO; nieces and nephews: Casey (Thomas) Reed of Festus, MO, Kayla (Tyler) Shepard of Potosi, MO, Brock Ward of Camdenton, MO, Kyle (Deonne) Cain of Cadet, MO, Trevor (Ashly) Ward of Nevada Springs, MO, Ian (Samantha) Ward of Buffalo, MO, Zach Ward of Springfield, MO, Chelsea Merseal of Clarksville , TN, Heather Coleman of Florissant, MO, Kayla Lemons of Florissant, MO, Addy Tilson of Florissant , MO Alis Politte of Potosi, MO, Katie (Joey) Blount of Potosi, MO and many other relatives and friends
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded on death by two brothers, Tony Ward and Raymond “Boonie” Ward.
Larry’s love of Christ was instilled in him at a young age. He was a devoted member to St. Joachim Catholic Church and helped with many church festivities. He owned and operated the Ward Pallet Mill for many years. Larry loved his town and the people in it always there to help when needed. He greeted everyone with a warm and welcoming smile. His kindness, compassion and love of Christ will be missed and cherish by all.
