Freddy "Max" Tiefenauer of Caledonia, Missouri was born October 26, 1943 in Caledonia, Missouri a son of the late Francois (Hockinghomer) and late Bill Tiefenauer. Freddy departed this life on Thursday, November 19, 2020 having reached the age of 77 years and 24 days.

Freddy is survived by his companion Brenda Schroeder of Farmington, Missouri; Son, Steve (Christine) Tiefenauer of Park Hills, Missouri; Daughter Holly (Kiley) Hensley of Bonne Terre, Missouri; Grandchildren Catilynn Hensley of Jackson, Missouri; Emily Tiefenauer attending Maryville University; Mason Tiefenauer attending Lincoln Tech in Nashville; Jacob Looney US Army Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Madi Tiefenauer of Park Hills; Lilly Hensley of Bonne Terre; Levi Hensley of Bonne Terre.

In addition to his parents, Freddy is preceded in death by his brothers, Donald; Joseph Tiefenauer; son, Cale Tiefenauer; grandson, Shawn Hensley; dear and special friend Roberta Ann Raney.

Freddy graduated from Valley Caledonia and enlisted in the US Navy serving from 1963 to 1967 as a PipeFitter E4 on the UA Essex. After the service, Freddy had many jobs including working in body shops, mines, truck driver, and retired as an operator and a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, AFL, CIO Local 513. Freddy had a love for cars and over the years owned many beautiful classics. He loved restoring and driving them. He was a member of the Nation Hot Rod Association and traveled the US and Canada going to car shows. He made many friends along the way.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 1PM at the Bellevue Presbyterian Cemetery in Caledonia, Missouri.
