Larry Wade Miller, Sr. of Mineral Point, Missouri was born August 15, 1949 in Granite City, Illinois a son to the late Ralph Wade Miller and Alma Lee (Smith) Miller. Larry departed this life Monday, March 23, 2020 having reached the age of 70 years, 7 months and 8 days.
On May 22, 1995 Larry was united in marriage to Cynthia Lynn (Drennen) Miller and they were blessed with 24 memorable years together.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia; seven sons: Larry Wade Miller, Jr. of Granite City, Illinois, Brian Keith Miller and wife Becky of Granite City, Illinois, David Lee Miller of Granite City, Illinois, Adam Lee Miller of Granite City, Illinois, James Drennen of Mineral Point, Missouri, Jonathan Drennen of Mineral Point, Missouri, James Lake of Mineral Point, Missouri; three daughters Teresa Miller of Granite City, Illinois, Lisa Miller of Potosi, Missouri, Meagan Boyer and wife Bonnie of Potosi, Missouri; brother, Harold Miller and wife Tammy of Illinois; two half-brothers, Ralph Miller, Jr. and wife Cindy of Illinois, Bruce Miller and wife Deanna of Illinois; two sisters, Brenda Revelle of Illinois, Tammy Miller of Illinois; twenty-nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Dewayne Miller and five grandchildren.
Larry was energetic and always on the go. His favorite hobby was listening, watching and collecting all things Elvis Presley. The outdoors brought Larry great joy as well. He took many camping trips with friends and family and loved to play with his grandchildren, which he loved very much. His love, warmth and kindness will be greatly missed by all.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, MO.
