Mrs. Theresa was both my kids first teacher. My kids and I loved her. We were blessed and lucky to have her. I had a wonderful time being a parent volunteer in her class. Watching her with kids inspired me to become a teacher. We will always miss her.

We were so blessed to have Theresa as our daughters 1st teacher. Theresa was everything you would want in a teacher. She was fun, creative, had a heart of gold and genuinely cared about her students. She cared about her student’s families just as much as she did about her students. She was a teacher and friend that went the extra mile and truly loved what she did. She saw the best in people and found ways to make those strengths shine and would be there to help out in any way she could. She was one of the most ‘real’ people I have met and could see straight through fakeness. She would stand up for what she believed in but still took the time to listen and showed respect to all. Her courage and faith was so admirable. Theresa, you were a treasure and I’m forever thankful for you. My 7 years at Hackmann wouldn’t have been the same without you as my teammate and friend. I’m thankful that you’re no longer in pain and are home with the Lord. At church today I couldn’t help but think of you in Heaven worshiping, pain free, surrounded in all things yellow and bright and loving all of those sweet babies. Rest in Peace Theresa!

I worked with Theresa for 15 years .I always admired her for her sense of humor and respect and guidance for her students This in turn gained her the respect of the parents.. When it came to fund raising for our school she was always very successful. She will always carry a special place in my heart.

Mrs. Theresa will be so missed by all of us at Hackmann Rd. Preschool- she was respected and loved by all. She had a firm but kind and loving demeanor with her young students and was so creative in her classroom themes. Above that she should all of us what faith and courage really look like during her illness. She never gave up her fight for life, her love of god and her family and her hope that all would be well. Our hearts are so sad for all her family and friends. Rose Cantrell, School Nurse
